Our Kangra Black Orthodox Tea is the finest that the Himalayas have to offer. This Hand-plucked Tea is made with the original Camellia Sinensis plant and is completely free of any weedicide or pesticide. Popular for its rich aroma and unique subtle flavour, our tea is also rich in antioxidants.
Interestingly, the British planted the original Camellia Sinensis bushes in Kangra Valley which were smuggled in from China. However, due to a destructive earthquake in 1905, they abandoned this region. Thereafter, locals of Palampur revived the tea plantations.
Our Kangra Black Tea has a Geographical Indicator (GI) tag as proof of authenticity.
How to Brew: Add 1 tsp of Kangra Black Orthodox Tea to 1 cup of water. Let it brew
for 2-4 minutes. Strain and serve. Best had without milk.
