Himalayan Yew Tea, a blend of Sweet Violets (Banafsha), Yew Leaves and Mint, is one of the finest the Himalayas have to offer. These herbs have a mild flavour and a soothing aroma which helps relax and relieve stress. It also improves sleep quality when had before going to bed. The tea can also be brewed with ginger to cure cough and cold.
Himalayan Yew is one of the lesser known trees of the region which has been used as traditional medicine. It is said to be a rich source of taxol, a potent anticancer drug. Sweet Violet is an immunity boosting herb which helps cure insomnia. Wild Mint adds anti-oxidants to the tea and has a soothing effect.
The leaves used in this tea are of the trees found in the Great Himalayan National Park in Himachal Pradesh, where it is locally known as Rakhal. Women
living around the National park travel great distances on foot to collect the fallen leaves and other herbs.
Buraansh ensures that the Himalayan Yew Tea reaches to you in its purest and raw form.
